UKIUKI (“we”, “us”) operates ukiuki2013.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. The website is operated by UKIUKI, a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea, Aejiwon #217, 1731 Deogyeong-daero, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do 16710, Republic of Korea.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and the contents of messages you send us. If you create an account, your login details. If you join our newsletter, your email address.
- Payment information: payments are processed by PayPal. We do not receive or store your card number.
- Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and the date and time of your visit, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 4).
2. How we use it
To process and ship your orders, send order confirmations and tracking, answer your questions, send our newsletter if you signed up, prevent fraud, understand how the website is used, and show you advertising for our products on other platforms.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website: PayPal (payments), Korea Post EMS and its US delivery partner USPS (shipping), Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google (Analytics and Ads), and Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising). Newsletter sign-ups are collected through a form on our website and stored on our own server. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies for the shopping cart, login, and site analytics. We also use the Meta Pixel and Google tags to measure our advertising and show relevant ads. You can control cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Meta ads at facebook.com/ads/preferences, and opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Our website does not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
5. How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the tools above.
6. Where it is processed
We are based in the Republic of Korea. Your information is processed in Korea and by the service providers listed above, which may store data in the United States or elsewhere.
7. Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter using the link in any email, or by emailing us. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. California residents may request information about how we share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes; we do not share information for that purpose.
8. Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
The website uses HTTPS, and payment is handled by PayPal on its own secure pages. No method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
